There are so many Twitter related sites but I could find none that is able to generate a button with my real time Twitter followers number. So, what can I do? Sit still and wait until somebody will create a site like that? Nope, not my style.
I decided to start working on what I wanted. That`s how givingatweet.com was born. At this moment anyone can create a Real Time Twitter Followers Badge. It is easy and it is ready in few moments.

Here are the steps to create a badge:

1. Go to givingatweet.com (duh!);
2. Type in your Twitter user name in the first text box
3. If you want a button that will say something like “xxx followers”, type in the word followers in the 2nd box named “Text”;
4. Set the width for your button. The width for one of my buttons is 150 pixels. You will have to enter only the number of the pixels;
5. Set the height of the button by entering its pixels number. Mine is 20 for instance;
6. Set the color of the button, the background color. It can be any color you like. On the right hand side you have a color selector. Just click on the color you like and they will return its code. Copy that code and paste it into the background color’s box;
7. Set the color of the text (the Twitter followers number and the “after word”);
8. One more step is to select the size of the text you will add to the box. There are 5 options. I like the last one, it is the biggest
9. The last step in creating the button is the “Create my Twitter badge” button pushing. Don`t be shy, just push it!
10. Here you go! You have the code! Copy it to your clipboard and past it into your site, in the place where you want it to be.
